My books are up at Barnes and Noble.com! My books are for sale at Barnes and Noble.com! I thought that might be a possibility, but I’m not going to lie, I got a little crazy-warm star-struck feeling when I saw the listing.
You can check them out here: Free Love Beach and Serenity Lake Marina. !!! :)

The first round of postcards should be landing in everybody’s mailboxes this week. You all, I’m feeling terrified. Or excited? Butterflies. Anticipation. I don’t remember poetry writing ever feeling so scary…maybe because I had been studying it for so long, that it felt so natural and I was confident in my abilities.
Fiction writing has been honestly more intimate than I remember poetry being…and poetry is by nature, intimate. Usually. Some really strange feelings swirling around over here. Ha! I’m trying really hard not to take myself so seriously.
The books are fun stories, the writing of them was so fun. The publishing process has been full of a few more techy details than I’m accustomed to, but I’m learning. My very wise writing partner says, “We’re throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.”
Anyway, the Cocktails, Sunsets, and Music Books One and Two are listed on Amazon and IngramSpark, and I’m really hoping they’re going to show up on Bookshop.org soon. The very nice customer service person told me that their back end system is going through updates, and they can’t manually add them, but hopefully they will show up in a few days. I like Bookshop.org because they support independent bookstores, so I’m checking every day.
Free Love Beach and Serenity Lake Marina are currently listed at a sale price, which you could call the friends and family discount. I’m not advertising to the larger world yet, though they’re out there, but the prices will go up to be competitive with other books in the genre sometime around August 15th.
So, if you’re not sure you want to purchase quite yet, but you do want to purchase soon, you can jot that little date on your calendar to save yourself some money. The Free Love Beach ebook on Amazon is only $.99! I don’t make any money off of that as an author, but I wanted the stories to be accessible to everyone, even those of us on a budget. And the paperback is only $9.99! For a limited time.
I do think the stories are fun and moving and inspiring, but I also feel as if writing them was a gift from the universe. And I love these characters.
That’s all for now, I think.
Safe travels, and sweet dreams!

They’re here! The print books and the ebooks are live on Amazon! I’m still working out some kinks for them to be listed on Bookshop.org, and as soon as they are, I’ll update the links.
We worked really hard at raking out all of the typos, but it’s damn near impossible, even with extra sets of eyes…I hope we got all of them this time.
The good news is, I still see a typo here or there in books of really successful authors. Hopefully it will make these first editions *collectible.* And hopefully, the books are priced accordingly. The stories are good though, I’m almost sure of it…I’ve read them hundreds of times, now. :)
Love you all.
Happy Reading!

Dear Lovely Readers and Free Spirits,
They’re here! The books are in the world now! Well, the ebook versions are published. The paperbacks are in review and should be available in the next few days!!! Two days after my (self-imposed) deadline. They’re ready for the world!
I recently worked with an editor who pointed out some things I do in my writing habitually, that I need to think about in the long run. In the process I learned that I need to save more time for editing work in the future.
After their editorial advice, and two weeks before publication, I went back through and made a bunch of new changes to the story, and in the process, accidentally published a version full of typos and grammatical mistakes, (because this publishing software and this grammar check…spelling mistakes!?) and then I finally broke up with Microsoft Word for good. I really dislike copilot.
The changes I did make in the end greatly improved the storylines and deepened the characters, and all in all, it was worth staying up for three days and almost having some kind of panic attack. (I think.) Yeah.
After a much needed massage from a new friend and massage therapist, a focus on self-care, some prayers, and some really specific focus on quotation marks and ellipses, I think the books are as good as I can make them.
I’ve done my best, and I think the stories are moving. Writing these characters taught me so much about myself, and brought to the surface some life things I had not understood before.
And I think the main characters are having a lot of fun on the page. So they should be fun to read about. I also admit, I cried a lot through one of the endings.
There is a disclaimer from the publisher in the beginning of the books inviting readers who notice any typographical errors or formatting wonkiness, to reach out to me directly by message. Please do; my brain has lost its capacity to see the tiny things. Please be kind; I’m sensitive.
I’m going to log off for now and see what’s happening in the real world.
If you read one of the stories and love it, will you write to me and let me know? I put everything I love into Serenity Lake Marina, and everything I ever knew about moving out on one’s own into Free Love Beach. The stories are dear to me and I hope you enjoy them.
Safe travels, and sweet dreams,
Sara

Dear Lovely Readers and Free Spirits,
I was REALLY HOPING Serenity Lake Marina, Book Two of the Cocktails, Sunsets, and Music series, was going to come out this week. Like, really hoping. Unfortunately, publication has been delayed due to some unforeseen editorial circumstances.
We're hoping all of the kinks will be worked out in the very near future, and the story will get to meet the world when it is ready. Stay tuned!
Book Number One is also getting some extra love and attention and so will be unavailable for a short time. If you purchased an ebook copy of Free Love Beach between June 15th and July 4th, you can reach out to me for a free updated version when it becomes available again.
In the meantime, sign up for my postcard list, and I’ll send you a postcard when the books are ready.
Stay cool, safe travels, and sweet dreams.
Sincerely,
Sara
